That's right... JJ Carter purchased the domain of www.mythillogic.com from Aplus.net, with a 50-meg space which will actually allow us to post music files ON the site, instead of the current setup of not only having to remember this cumbersome domain we've been using for the last 2.5 years, with a redirect-url to hear the music on mp3.com (who takes most of the rights to the music away when it's posted there... which is why we put older tunes on it for now).
JJ just registered the name tonight so there's nothing on it yet, but pretty soon there will be a redirect url on this page, and life will be much easier for anyone trying to find the Mythillogic official site. For now, he's tired as hell from beating his head against the wall trying to figure out how to get the damn thing configured.... only to discover it takes a bit of time for the domain name to activate.
As they say in the shady-music biz... details later!

As some of you may notice, there is currently a slight identity crisis going on here. I've been calling this project Ill Logic since 1996. Lately I have discovered that in 1997-98, ten other groups started calling themselves Ill Logic too. There is little chance that anybody copped the name from me-- since I didn't even release anything with the name 'Ill Logic' until 1997 and it was only a project tape anyway.
Whatever the case, the name's taken on mp3.com, so I had to come up with something that I could search for on Google and find no bands called that. My first choice, 'Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers', has already been used, so I had to think fast. Since the website's already called Mythillogic, and nobody owns Mythillogic.com, that's the new name for the group. My only concern is, obviously, that it's too weird and people will just shake their heads and wander away, puzzled at this idea... myth-illogic? Ill Logic was bad enough, but now it's a legendary world of forgotten beasts and heroes?
No, not really, it's just a little homage to Sun Ra's Myth Science Arkestra. His energy was as great as the planet he called home, Saturn, and his philosophy about life, space, and music remains essential to the 'Think-Happener' and the process of Happening. As Ra said when asked, "My man, what's happening?"--- "Everything's happening."
A new addition to the music project also is Rob DeFilipo, who's been programming some stuff recently. If we can get him a guitar, he'll be playing that too. Anybody got a line on a cheap Telecaster in decent shape?
Enough for now--- oh yeah, and the 'Eyenet' CD remaster is nearly finished. But first, I need to get in an application for MusicFest NW.

I haven't updated the site in a while but finally got the long-jabbered-about Bullshit Page rolling, so now the 'News' page is no longer half bullshit-science-fiction, half real news. Satire and reality are now officially different on this page, despite how similar they sometimes are.
More soon... come back again and again and again. "It would be ludicrous to say that we're new to this... we DO this...."
In the meantime try some techniques to counteract any hypnotic spells which may have dragged you in like a tractor beam to some peculiar flashing, glowing, all-consuming radioactive attention-thieving machine which some folks keep in front of the couch in their living rooms.
